Jailhouse Burrito Video Featured in Grunge

In the past couple of years I’ve become interested in how people in large institutions

eat – for example, military in the field, or those unfortunate enough to be incarcerated. (You can find my MRE and prison recipe playlists here and here.)

I’ve tried prison recipes from a couple of different books: Albert “Prodigy” Johnson’s Commissary Kitchen: My Infamous Prison Cookbook & Clifton Collins (Jr.) and Gustavo “Goose” Alvarez’s Prison Ramen: Recipes and Stories from Behind Bars.

Recently Grunge.com featured my recreation of the Prison Burrito from Prison Ramen in their article Prison Foods That are Actually Delicious. (Thanks @Grunge!) You can watch my video below.
